Chocolate Protein Pancakes

Ingredients for 3 servings a 2 pancakes

Pancakes
  1. 3 scoops hemp protein
  2. 1.5 cups oats (I used rolled)
  3. 3 T cocoa powder
  4. 2 tsp agave
  5. half a packet baking powder
  6. pinch of salt
  7. almond milk (or rice, or soy or whatever you use), approximately 1 cup
  8. 1 tsp olive or grape-seed oil

Sauce:

1. Frozen or fresh fruit of your choice (I used a frozen tropical mix)
2. 1 tsp agave syrup 

Instructions
  1. Start by putting your fruit on the stove, letting it heat up, add a tsp of agave syrup and blending it with a stick blender or in your food processor once it is thoroughly heated. While this is on the stove you can start to:
  2. Combine all dry ingredients in a food processor, blend until the oats are mixed in well. 
  3. Add milk until you get the pancake batter consistency
  4. Spray pan with olive oil or grape-seed oil 
  5. Wait until oil is hot, then add batter to form small pancakes. Fry until done :) 

Tip
       Makes 6 pancakes/3 servings of 2. Freeze extra for later. You can freeze the fruit sauce in ice cube trays for single servings OR freeze it in a freezer bag, laying it flat so it defrosts way quicker when you are ready to use it.
